MegaBloks- Blok Squad Fire Patrol Rescue

We are huge builders around here, and I have been waiting for my daughter to be old enough to enjoy the features of the smaller bloks from Mega Brand! We recently were introduced to the new Blok Squad Fire Patrol Rescue, and huge kit full of 190 pieces, that encourage building and lots of playing time!

There are several different varieties of this new set, and we were sent the one that contains the Fire Rescue Pumper Truck and the Fire Patrol ATV. Now I love firefighters, as much as my kids do, so this was a blast! The  pieces are a bit smaller than what we are typically used to, as this set is for ages 5 and up. However, the instructions were phenomenal, making the creations easy and simple. Other sets include other everyday heros, such as police and construction workers.

The Blok Squad Fire Patrol Rescue kit was a blast, and continues going strong in my house! 

The little pieces are too cute, complete with fireman tools, opening doors to the firetruck and more!

MAM Baby Products are my child's favorite new addiction!

Looking for great baby products can be tricky... Will it serve a purpose? Will your child love it? Will it be free of nasty chemicals? These are all criteria most of us parents go through when searching for something! MAM is a world-wide known company that originated in 1976, and has been not only going strong, but continues to create top of the line, practical and useful products for our little ones, from birth and up!

My little man is one of those kids who puts absolutely everything in his mouth, so finding something that is beneficial with that, can be a challenge! I have tried practically everything, and recently had the opportunity to review a few items from MAM. I am so very grateful, because everything was a huge hit, he loves this brand as much as I do! 

The first item is the MAM Night. These are pacifiers, kicked into a whole new world! These are orthodontic pacifiers that soothe and are great for baby's jaw and development. You will find that these are made from BPA-free plastic with a silicone nipple. The outside is curved to fit comfortably around baby's mouth, complete with air holes- as most of us parents know is great for their little sensitive faces, too! The outside does not have a "handle," but is very simple for baby to grasp and hold. My most favorite feature of this pacifier, though, is they glow in the dark! That is genius, and I am sure we could all appreciate this awesome feature... especially on those late nights! 

You can't appreciate a great pacifier during the daytime without a clip... so the MAM Clip & Cover was next! This is not your typical clip either! Unlike others on the market, that simply keep your pacifier from hitting the floor, this one actually has a nipple cover built in as well! Again, genius! This nifty creation works on all MAM pacifiers, comes in a huge selection of colors and is baby safe like other MAM products! Best feature in my book? You can easily work this MAM Clip & Cover with one hand! Awesome!

Next up, the MAM trainer cup! I was really excited about this, because my son is so ready to begin making the switch from bottle to cup! This is a 7 oz. cup, so it is the perfect size for making the transition, anything larger would be too heavy and anything smaller, wouldn't be worth it! The spout on this trainer is super soft, spill-free and is absolutely the best design I have personally seen on the market! The handles are small, great for babies this age, and gives my son the independence he was craving! My favorite feature? The wide mouth, which makes cleaning a breeze!

With my son teething all the time, I have bought several different items I thought he would get relief from... but it seems most items he just tosses aside and never looks back! The MAM Twister Teether is a toy and Teether in one! The middle of this teether is a rattle, and the outside is a teether. It can be frozen for cool relief of sore gums and is textured for different areas! My favorite feature? The 4 outside teether sections can be twisted around, which entertains baby and separates this teether from others!

The last product we reviewed has to be my son's absolute favorite of them all! The MAM massaging brush! If you know me, I am pretty hardcore about oral hygiene, and I started cleaning both my children's teeth the moment they cut their first teeth and have continued a strict oral care regimen. My son seems to be teething practically everyday, so he loves the feel of the MAM massaging brush! He loves to lay back and let me brush those little teeth. This massage brush has a long handle, and there are 4 different tools on all the ends, each for a unique purpose and feel!

These are wonderful AND useful products, which I love!

Itty Bitty Heart Beats- Review & Giveaway

I am not a fan of television, especially with my children. However, we have movie night once a week, and with the massive selection out there, it can be tough to pick just one! I recently heard about Itty Bitty Heart Beats, a kid's first award winning animated/live action web-based television series of musical adventures for girls and boys ages 2-6! 

My first thoughts about Itty Bitty Heart Beats was that the characters were insanely cute! More importantly, this series focuses on three main principles-

-living a healthy & nutritious lifestyle

-having a healthy heart, both physically & emotionally

-teaching positive life lessons

How many cartoons can you really say that about?? 

We were sent some goodies from Itty Bitty Heart Beats to check out, and my daughter went nuts! She loves the characters, because their heads are heart-shaped and super cute! The goodies were awesome! We found 2 plush dolls, a coloring book and crayons, 3 sheets of stickers, a heart shaped book and a video with 4 new episodes!

My daughter loved the 2 characters- Sweetheart and Coolheart! Aren't they super cute? 

Everything was cute and I love that this series is all about just that-  promoting a positive approach to life! 

The video was more than expected! Full of feel-goodness that children can relate to! The 4 episodes were as follows-

Sleep little angel

With a little bit of love 

There was even a music video at the end, "Boogie Boogie Dance" and it was a blast! 

Watching this movie was great, positive and put everyone in a great mood! The video was upbeat, imaginative and shared cored values that I appreciate as a parent!

Itty Bitty Heart Beats is now one of my families favorite, and we will continue being fans of this upbeat and positive company!

Itty Bitty Heart Beats is a great treat for the kiddos in your life, and you will appreciate the fact that they will learn core values and lessons!

The video with all 4 episodes and song is still under 1 hour, which I love!

Kashi Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola Bars are here!

As someone always on the go, I am always searching for snacks that can easily be thrown in my purse, diaper bag or my kid's backpack. The problem is, most of pre-packaged foods that are great for these situations are loaded up with chemicals, preservatives and well, trash. Kashi has come through with a great snack, perfect for on the go, taste amazing, and is healthy! 

Kashi's new Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola bars are as amazing tasting as the name describes! You'll find a wonderful, slightly chewy granola bar, covered in dark chocolate, and full of peanuts and more chocolate pieces thrown on top! This is not your typical granola bar, these are wholesome and the chocolate is phenomenal! This seriously taste like you are biting into a granola bar covered in fudge!

As most of you are already aware, Kashi is a brand known for making incredibly yummy foods, all with their trademark 7 whole grains. You won't find anything artificial in these granola bars, or anything else from the Kashi product lineup, just wholesome and healthy deliciousness disguised as a snack bar!

This is not only my new favorite snack, but my daughter's, too! She thinks she is eating junk food! Sssshhhhh!
