Mighty Leaf Tea- Review & Giveaway

In case you are unaware, I am a freak about tea.... I don't know if it's because I am in the south, or if I was raised this way or what, but I love me some tea. I can be pretty picky, and it's tough to sell me on a new brand. Mighty Leaf tea was everything that I was looking for- wholesome, pure, organic hand-blended, whole leaf teas!   Created by a husband and wife team in 1996, and delivering the highest possible ingredients, came the name Mighty Leaf tea!

Mighty Leaf Tea has created some of the most unique and well, awesome tea bags I have ever seen before! These tea bags are jam-packed full of whole leaf teas, herbs and fruits that pack a huge punch in taste, quality and you can truly tell a difference!

I had the opportunity to review some teas from Mighty Leaf, and I was thrilled! I was sent a ton of iced teas and a bodum iced tea pitcher. I was really surprised how much was included- this was a ton of tea! Then I had the dilemma of picking which one to start with! 

I decided to go with the Mighty Leaf Ginger Peach first! Inside the box, the tea bags were packed full- and in large pieces- you can actually see the tea, fruit and more! The bags are really nice, too, they remind me of gift satchels that are silky, and were so much higher quality that I would have ever expected! These bags are also biodegradable as well! In fact, Mighty Leaf Tea won the best new green packaging award at the specialty coffee association show in 2006-2007!

The Bodum Iced Tea Pitcher that I was sent was incredible too, I've never heard of anything like this. I typically brew my tea in a pot of boiling water on the stove. However, this process was very simple, and was more like steeping inside the tea pitcher. Inside there is a perforated-like section where you drop a tea bag, you then pour in very hot water, let steep for a few minutes. Then, with the small handle, pull out the "tea section" to remove tea bag, fill with water and ice, and you are ready for some tea!

The taste of each of these teas have a unique and distinct taste! I loved them all and I can't wait to try more varieties from Mighty Leaf! 

Ginger Peach Iced Tea- a blissful and lightly sweetened black iced tea infused with sun-swelled peaches and delicate ginger.

Calypso Mango Iced Tea- a sweet and cooling black iced tea with an indulging blend of South Indian black tea leaves, luscious mango and tropical fruit.

Organic Black Iced Tea- a flavorful black iced tea made of refreshingly rich and smooth South Indian organic black tea leaves hand-picked on the dewy slopes of the Nilgiri Mountains.

Sunburst Green Iced Tea- a cool and vibrant iced green tea that delivers mountain-grown Chinese green tea leaves brightened with the crisp taste of oranges and sweet citrus. The lowest in caffeine among all four flavors.

I was blown away by the quality and taste of Mighty Leaf Teas, and will continue to use this brand!

The selection is absolutely incredible- you will find a massive selection of teas pouches, loose teas, iced teas, teaware, gifts and more!
