Baby Talk Designs- Review & Giveaway

As you should already know, I am expecting. The thing is, I love Halloween... and if finding flattering maternity clothes were not hard enough, finding something to celebrate Halloween is really tough! I am at the point where it may be easier to paint my stomach orange and go as a pumpkin... great. Fortunately for me, I found Baby Talk Designs! Baby Talk Designs makes lots of great goodies for expecting mommies, for babies and more. Even better? They have just added Halloween items to the shop! Lucky for my tummy that I won't be painting it orange after all!

All of the shirts are hilarious and tell the world exactly how you feel- I love these-

I had the opportunity to review an item from Baby Talk Designs, and I picked the Halloween Custom Skeleton Maternity shirt- You can pick either a boy or girl baby skeleton for your shirt. You can even have 2 baby skeletons on your shirt if you are expecting twins- how cute is that??

Here is the girl option- 

I am having a boy- so my shirt was the same, just without the eyelashes and the pink bow of course. You can chose the color of your bow as well. 

I also picked the long sleeved version, because it has been getting chilly here at nighttime!

This shirt fit extremely well, the shirts are not just over-sized t-shirts, they are fitted perfectly for maternity! 

The length is perfect and the material is super soft with a bit of stretch- which any expecting momma can appreciate!

In the spirit of Halloween, I found Crooked Fence Gifts. Vicky offers some of the most unique and whimsical goodies! I love this style and I think it is perfect for Halloween! 

I had the opportunity to review an item, and I was sent the Scary Jack O Lantern Halloween Pick.

From the shop, this item looked super cute, but when it arrived, I had no idea how delicate it would be! This little guy was made with lots of love and patience! Made with paper acordian arms and connected with the most delicate wooden pick. His Chest is adorned with felt and a wooden casket. The details are incredible- there is even glitter decorating his face and a rhinestone bow!

I placed Jack on my mantle, and decided he needed a bit more- so we put him on a wreath for now. He is light enough that he could even be used as a cake topper, which would be super cute!

-My Thoughts- 

I love Crooked Fence Gifts- this is exactly my style!

Community Coffee- Review & Giveaway!

As you know, I am from Louisiana, and when we go back to visit, there are quite a few things we always have to do. Eat some great food, visit family and visit Community Coffee... my favorite indulgence!

However, Community Coffee has come a long way, and you can purchase their coffee at most grocery stores now, and if not, you can shop online. I am sure that most would say that pregnant women, such as myself are not supposed to drink coffee, but if you met with before I had my morning coffee, you would disagree... and with the cooler weather settling in, I crave it even more! Delish! 

My personal favorite is the New Orleans blend- this blend has chicory in it, which I love love love!! If you have no idea what I am talking about, then you must try it- it has a totally different flavor that I personally love, and creates a wonderful full flavor!

I had the opportunity to review some items from Community Coffee that even I have not tried before. Of course I am going to share these goodies with you! The package arrived in a nifty little box which I thought was different that the ordinary, and very exciting!

First up, the Whole Bean Private Reserve Evangeline Blend. This coffee is a dark roast, with 100% Arabica coffee beans. The taste is great for all coffee lovers, with a semi-sweet flavor and oh-so smooth! This coffee was created to honor Louisiana's legend of Evangeline and Gabriel. A story written by Longfellow, the story of the bittersweet romance is just like this coffee- a wonderful combination!

The next item is the Whole Bean Private Reserve French Roast. A true coffee classic- richly intense aroma and full bodied flavor. Extremely flavorful and has an European style dark roasted intensity! I could brew this coffee all day long even just to smell... in fact, if Community Coffee wanted to create a candle around this coffee, I would totally buy it... just sayin'. 

The Black Bodum Grinder.  How in the world would I grind all this deliciousness without an amazing grinder? The Black Bodum Grinder is a very small grinder, which I love, but don't think that it is not powerful. This little guy grinds and cuts up whole beans in seconds! This is where the action is- I will probably stick with whole bean coffee from now on, because the taste of freshly ground coffee is phenomenal! Just slip on the lid, and push the red button. My one and only complaint is that the cord is super short, which makes convenience tricky- but with a curious 3 year old wondering around my house, I am thankful for that. Even better? This grinder is only $19.95! 

To polish off the whole set, the Signature Coffee Scoop. No, not just a spoon, but this is a deep scoop, and a  perfect size for those whole beans you are all drooling over now. Besides, this coffee scoop is great looking, and I would keep out for my guests to use as well! The Scoop is 2 tbsp. measure and has an extra long handle for even that last bit of coffee!

-My Thoughts-

You already know I LOVE Community Coffee, but I am sold on the whole beans now, which is a whole new ballpark!

The coffee bags I told you about are both $7.99 a bag, which is very reasonable!

The bags are resealable and stay fresh. 

Community Coffee even offers a coffee club, where you can save with every purchase!

I had the opportunity to review a pair of glasses, and I decided to let my mom pick some out, as she was in dire need of some reading glasses. My mom picked out the June Bifocal in tortoise. These frames are very basic, with a slight cat-eye, but not too crazy. The bifocal section of the lenses allow you to look down to read, and look up without having to tug your glasses on and off. My mom has been searching for glasses just like that- for example, when she is at church, she can now look down into the bible and actually read it- then look back up to listen to the preacher. These glasses worked perfectly for her.

The glasses fit my mom very well, and I love the tortoise color on her. The frames are very sturdy- and will last quite some time. These particular bifocals run from a power of +1.25 to +3.00.- which is a very wide range for bifocals! Wanna hear something even better? These June Bifocals are only $16.11! That is incredible! 

As I already said, Reading Glasses Shopper also offers sunglasses, which I think are the coolest thing ever. No, these are not what you would expect, either! You would never guess on some of these sunglasses- I mean, check out the Beverly Hills bi-focal sun readers- It doesn't stop there- the selection is huge! I am positive you will find something for everyone!

Love the selection and the prices are amazing- you could easily buy a pair for everyday of the week and still stay under budget! However, you will not lose style or quality- these are great!

Fantasy Jewelry Box - Review & Giveaway

I have told you before, and I will tell you again- I LOVE Fantasy Jewelry Box! A Candy Store- Review & Giveaway

ACandyStore.com is a candy lover's dream. Nuff' said. The candy is sold in bulk, and at a great price. I feel like a kid browsing the site, and find myself drooling over my keyboard!

The site is really easy to use, and you will easily find what you are looking for. You can narrow down your search to categories such as candy type, color, flavor, brand, wrapped or unwrapped and more. Honestly, this is one of the most user friendly websites I have ever seen! It is also probably the biggest candy concoction I have ever seen as well!

I had the opportunity to review some goodies from ACandyStore.com, and like I said, these are in bulk! Really, can you see the top of the box that was sent to me? That says 15 pounds! Do you have any idea how much 15 pounds of candy is?!?
