Community Coffee- Review & Giveaway!

As you know, I am from Louisiana, and when we go back to visit, there are quite a few things we always have to do. Eat some great food, visit family and visit Community Coffee... my favorite indulgence!

However, Community Coffee has come a long way, and you can purchase their coffee at most grocery stores now, and if not, you can shop online. I am sure that most would say that pregnant women, such as myself are not supposed to drink coffee, but if you met with before I had my morning coffee, you would disagree... and with the cooler weather settling in, I crave it even more! Delish! 

My personal favorite is the New Orleans blend- this blend has chicory in it, which I love love love!! If you have no idea what I am talking about, then you must try it- it has a totally different flavor that I personally love, and creates a wonderful full flavor!

I had the opportunity to review some items from Community Coffee that even I have not tried before. Of course I am going to share these goodies with you! The package arrived in a nifty little box which I thought was different that the ordinary, and very exciting!

First up, the Whole Bean Private Reserve Evangeline Blend. This coffee is a dark roast, with 100% Arabica coffee beans. The taste is great for all coffee lovers, with a semi-sweet flavor and oh-so smooth! This coffee was created to honor Louisiana's legend of Evangeline and Gabriel. A story written by Longfellow, the story of the bittersweet romance is just like this coffee- a wonderful combination!

The next item is the Whole Bean Private Reserve French Roast. A true coffee classic- richly intense aroma and full bodied flavor. Extremely flavorful and has an European style dark roasted intensity! I could brew this coffee all day long even just to smell... in fact, if Community Coffee wanted to create a candle around this coffee, I would totally buy it... just sayin'. 

The Black Bodum Grinder.  How in the world would I grind all this deliciousness without an amazing grinder? The Black Bodum Grinder is a very small grinder, which I love, but don't think that it is not powerful. This little guy grinds and cuts up whole beans in seconds! This is where the action is- I will probably stick with whole bean coffee from now on, because the taste of freshly ground coffee is phenomenal! Just slip on the lid, and push the red button. My one and only complaint is that the cord is super short, which makes convenience tricky- but with a curious 3 year old wondering around my house, I am thankful for that. Even better? This grinder is only $19.95! 

To polish off the whole set, the Signature Coffee Scoop. No, not just a spoon, but this is a deep scoop, and a  perfect size for those whole beans you are all drooling over now. Besides, this coffee scoop is great looking, and I would keep out for my guests to use as well! The Scoop is 2 tbsp. measure and has an extra long handle for even that last bit of coffee!

-My Thoughts-

You already know I LOVE Community Coffee, but I am sold on the whole beans now, which is a whole new ballpark!

The coffee bags I told you about are both $7.99 a bag, which is very reasonable!

The bags are resealable and stay fresh. 

Community Coffee even offers a coffee club, where you can save with every purchase!
